LINDA 'ABORISADE' PARKS

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Linda was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a product of the Indianapolis public school system, having attended schools #87, #44, Shortridge H.S. and graduating from Crispus Attucks H.S. in 1971. Her first love is dance and her first dance teacher was her mother's washing machine - especially the rinse/spin cycle "which is great for the 'Shimmy' ". This 'training' currently helps her with her performance techniques for Middle-Eastern belly dancing and, her favorite, the Afro Puerto Rican Bomba. Linda's primary goal is to dance forever as she aspires to teach senior citizens the art of dance and never retire.
