Taste of the Exotic

ORI' brought an exciting multicultural blend of jazz to the local scene. Leader and bassist Tony Artis has combined jazz with Afro-Cuban salsa, danzon and Puerto Rican bomba. The exotic sound of bandmates Joe Galvin on steel drums, Fareed Mahluli on sax, Andre Rosa-Artis on congas and Raul Padro on drums has won me over.
